Aston Martin DB9 Volante
It takes one push of a button to raise or lower the roof of the Volante. Hood up or down, the lines of a DB9 Volante remain breathtakingly beautiful. The Aston Martin DB9 was conceived and designed, from the outset, as both a Coupe and a convertible (Volante). This uncompromising approach is typical of the whole DB9 engineering philosophy. That is why DB9 Volante is one of the most structurally rigid and best handling convertibles in the world.

Definition of a Supercar
a supercar is a top of the range automobile produced in limited numbers and aimed at the top 1% of car buyers and society in general. Produced to a high standard of workmanship a super would typically cost in excess of £80,000 (great British pounds) for an entry level model. Often seen as a status symbol typical clients or buyers of supercars are high calibre bankers, industry tycoons or celebrities. Owning such a vehicle is often a sign that the person driving has made it and is now a member of the 'elite'. Many can be seen in the banking district of many leading cities like London seeing such cars is common especially in areas frequented by stock traders and other high earning professionals.
Workmanship on such vehicles is to the highest standards achievable at that time - given that money is often no object to the customer's they will be supplied to. The technology used both in internal ergonomics and engine performance is typically state-of-the-art coming directly from Formula One and often developmental stages of development - in the case of super cars designed for sports.
High end cars exist to serve the needs of luxury as well as performance, a luxury car marketed as super will often go to great lengths to ensure opulence often combined with a high-performance power plant. Sometimes such cars come with facilities that assume the owner to have a driver or valet on hand all times however in more recent times it is normally assumed that the owner will drive most of the time himself.
Typical manufacturers of elite cars will be well known as those that cannot afford to own one will often aspire to ownership as a dream or long-term goal. Due to the fact most such vehicles cost more than a house for great many people owning ones a sure sign to anyone looking on that driver has made it and is a success.
Another name for supercar is a halo car or halo auto often due to the fact that the manufacturer will treat the supercar as a showcase for the companies workmanship and technological prowess in other words this car is the best we can do when no expense is spared. Whilst the term supercar is open to interpretation what can be ensured is that they will be very expensive, extremely high performance, and exert a rarefied aura - Any onlookers that glance upon such a car will know they have seen something very special.
